Lorry drivers are responsible for safely transporting goods, involving duties like vehicle inspection, loading/unloading, route planning, securing cargo, and documenting deliveries.

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance: Drive commercial vehicles safely, check fluid levels, tires, and brakes, and perform routine maintenance checks. Cargo Handling: Supervise and participate in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring fragile and heavy items are handled carefully. Cargo Security: Safely secure loads to prevent damage during transport and maintain the integrity of the cargo. Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals. Documentation: Complete and update delivery logs, trip reports, and other required paperwork. Safety Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies regarding driving hours and vehicle operations. Customer Service: Provide professional customer service at delivery points and collect delivery confirmations.

Should have experience working in an organisational setup. Minimum of (5) five years driving experience of lorries and light trucks.

Should have a valid driving license.
