Background

MGA Schools is seeking a dedicated Lower School Teacher to join their team. This role focuses on providing a strong foundational education for students in Grades 1-3, covering core subjects and fostering essential life skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach all core subjects (Literacy, Numeracy, Environmental Activities) as per the CBC guidelines.
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Develop and use teaching aids to make learning concrete and enjoyable.
• Conduct continuous assessment tests and maintain learner profiles.
• Identify and support learners with special needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary units.
• Organize and supervise educational field trips.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (PTE) or Degree in Education.
• TSC registration.
• Experience teaching lower primary grades.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and classroom management.
