JOB DETAILS:

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
To lead the m-mama programme in Kenya.
• Political management of the programme with Government.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the programme management including planning, budgeting, partner coordination, use of data for decision making, knowledge management, implementation, and reporting.
• To performance manage the delivery of the m-mama programme.
• To be the lead of the programme in Kenya to the Government, Vodafone Foundation, M-PESA Foundation, funders and implementing partners.

To financially and performance manage the NGOs and other agencies charged with delivery of the programme.
• To own the relationships with the key implementing partners.
• To drive partners through financial and impact reporting to deliver the decrease in maternal mortality.

Budget owned:
Programme budget is US$15mill over five years.

Key performance indicators:
• High management standards of m-mama in Kenya
• Clear execution of m-mama strategy in Kenya

• Successful funder, implementing partner and government relationships in Kenya
Direct reports: Expectation of no direct reports.
Dotted reports: All external implementing partners in this programme.
