About the Role.
Burn is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician – Electrical to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing plant. The role involves preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, safety inspections, equipment installation, and supporting continuous plant operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
Job Description:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults...
- Assist with installation of new electrical equipment and systems
- Program and calibrate electrical control systems
- Conduct safety inspections
- Identify hazards and take corrective actions
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Prepare reports on system performance
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams
- Prepare and interpret technical diagrams
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other components
- Work with MRO stores to maintain electrical spares
- Make decisions based on technical documents
- Perform electrical quality testing and inspections
- Work on a shift basis
- Any other duty assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience with PLCs, motor control circuits, switchgear, transformers and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Preventive maintenance planning
- AutoCAD knowledge
