Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our Finance Department.
This role is critical in providing accurate and timely management accounting support through financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The position supports informed decision-making, cost control, and efficient resource allocation while ensuring financial integrity and compliance with hospital policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
- CPA (K) qualification.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a finance or accounting role within an organization of similar size.
Key Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insight.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reporting and reconciliation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional judgment
