 Manager, Alternative Business KGN 3 Ref: CS/ComServ/01/09/2025 1
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for new business ventures, new markets, or alternative revenue streams aligned with organizational goals. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes to identify potential growth areas. Business Development: Identify, analyze, and pursue new business opportunities, often requiring innovation and a forward-thinking approach. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new initiatives, ensuring alignment and smooth execution. Operational Oversight: Oversee the development and implementation of operational processes for new business lines, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, clients, and executive leadership. Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of alternative business initiatives and drive accountability. Financial Management: Manage budgets for new business ventures and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term and develop creative, forward-thinking strategies for new markets and products. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and provide clear direction to achieve business objectives. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management to ensure the profitability of new ventures. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to interpret complex data, identify operational issues, and devise effective solutions to drive efficiency and growth. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with new vendors, partners, and clients for the alternative business streams. Commercial Awareness: A solid understanding of industry trends, economic policies, and competitive landscapes to identify viable opportunities.
