 Manager, Procurement KGN 3 Ref: CS/SC/01/09/2025 1
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, products, and services to ensure the best value for the organization. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable deals and ensure compliance. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain. Budget Management: Oversee and manage procurement budgets, tracking spending to ensure alignment with financial goals. Policy and Compliance: Develop and ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions. Cost Reduction: Drive cost-saving initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to reduce procurement costs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal departments and stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with company goals. Team Leadership (where applicable): Supervise, train, and support procurement team members, delegating tasks effectively.
Negotiation Skills: Proficiently negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best terms and prices. Analytical Skills: Analyze data, market trends, and spend to make informed decisions and improve performance. Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Leadership Skills: Provide direction and guidance to the procurement team, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with business goals. Procurement Expertise: Deep knowledge of the entire procurement process, from sourcing to payment. Risk Management: Ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain. Digital Aptitude: Proficiency in relevant purchasing and procurement management software.
