About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Governance and Policies Manager to join our team at DIB Bank. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT operations align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and the bank's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT governance frameworks and policies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee the IT risk management process, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of IT risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., CBK guidelines, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Manage IT audit processes and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Develop and deliver IT governance training programs to staff.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT controls and governance mechanisms.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align IT governance with business objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in IT governance and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, CISM are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
- In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
