Job Overview

The Manager – OPD Services will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department to ensure efficient patient flow, high-quality service delivery, excellent patient experience, staff performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of OPD operations to ensure efficient and high-quality outpatient service delivery.
  • Drive initiatives to improve patient flow, reduce waiting times, and enhance patient experience.
  • Lead and manage OPD staff performance, productivity, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and infection prevention standards.
  • Coordinate clinic schedules, appointments, and outpatient service processes.
  • Monitor departmental performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee effective utilization of departmental resources and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in hospital operations or outpatient services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and hospital information systems.
