Harley’s Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to support its East Africa business operations. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in marketing, brand management, product launches and market coordination, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices or FMCG sectors.

In this role, the Marketing Executive will contribute to the successful planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, product positioning strategies, market research initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities, while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and compliance with local market requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand management and Product Launches: Support product launches across East Africa by coordinating with Head Office Marketing and local teams. Assist in implementing brand strategies, developing promotional materials and monitoring brand performance to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Marketing Campaign Execution: Execute marketing campaigns and engagement activities targeting healthcare professionals, institutions and trade partners. Monitor campaign performance, collect market feedback and provide insights to support continuous improvement.

Vendor and Agency Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, agencies and suppliers to ensure the timely production and delivery of marketing materials. Maintain cost control, documentation compliance and quality standards across all marketing projects.

Market research and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, pricing trends and market developments. Generate actionable insights and reports to support brand strategy, commercial planning and business growth.

Business Analytics: Prepare and maintain management reports, dashboards and performance analyses covering sales, campaigns, tenders and market trends. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to support business decision-making.

Tender and Public Institution Support: Support tender participation and institutional business opportunities by coordinating documentation, timelines, and cross-functional inputs. Maintain tender records and assist in preparing submissions, product dossiers and institutional presentations.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, regulatory, supply chain, finance, distributors and Head Office Marketing to execute key business initiatives. Provide market insights, support training activities and ensure the successful implementation of marketing and commercial priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

MBA or equivalent management qualification is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, communications, brand coordination or commercial support.

Exposure to pharmaceutical launches, promotional campaigns, institutional business or tender support will be an advantage.

Experience in East Africa pharmaceutical markets.
