Marketing and IT Officer
Description
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing and IT Officer to drive our agency's growth and technological efficiency. This unique dual-role is ideal for a creative and tech-savvy professional who will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy while ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a key player in enhancing our brand presence and connecting our services with the right audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Digital Presence:
- Develop, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels (social media, email, web).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for all social media platforms and the company website.
- Design and produce high-quality marketing materials, including digital flyers, newsletters, blog posts, and graphics.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track customer interactions, and support the sales funnel.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- IT Systems & Technical Management:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide support for office hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage, update, and ensure the security of the agency’s website (e.g., WordPress) and other digital platforms.
- Provide first-line IT support to staff for hardware, software, and account-related issues.
- Administer and optimize digital marketing tools, including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms.
- Implement and manage data security protocols, regular backups, and technology best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a combined marketing and IT role.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with IT support, network management, and website maintenance (WordPress experience preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple projects.
Preferred:
- Graphic design skills (e.g., proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
- Experience with CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- A passion for education and technology and their power to create positive change.
