The Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Sales Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and client engagement in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns targeting clients who need language services;
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify potential clients;
  • Support the sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups with prospective clients;
  • Help create content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and other marketing materials;
  • Assist in monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns and preparing reports with actionable insights;
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the CRM system with client information and marketing activities;
  • Collaborate with the team on brainstorming sessions for new campaigns or client engagement strategies.
  • Attend client calls or virtual meetings to observe sales and account management processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing and sales team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a relevant discipline, with demonstrated interest or prior experience in marketing, sales, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create marketing content and interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail when preparing marketing materials, reports, and client communications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively to team initiatives.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and social media platforms; knowledge of CRM tools or marketing software is a plus.
  • Effective time management skills, ensuring marketing deadlines and sales follow-ups are met.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new marketing tools, platforms, and service offerings.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of confidentiality when handling client information.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French will be an added advantage.
