Role Summary

Seeking a qualified and experienced Mathematics teacher to guide a Form Four student through the entire KCSE Mathematics syllabus, focusing on problem-solving, exam technique, and strengthening weak areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete coverage of the Form Four Mathematics syllabus (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, Matrices, etc.).
• Review Form 1–3 topics to address knowledge gaps.
• Administer and mark past KCSE papers under timed conditions.
• Provide step-by-step coaching on Section B (long answer) questions.
• Teach shortcuts, calculator skills, and error-reduction strategies.
• Set weekly assignments and track performance improvement.
• Prepare termly revision schedules leading to mock exams.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Education (Maths major) or B.Ed. (Mathematics) .
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring KCSE Mathematics (at least 2 years).
• Excellent grasp of KCSE marking schemes.
• Must be patient and able to explain complex concepts simply.
• Reliable transport to Buruburu.
