About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of equipment and trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all company vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Order and manage parts inventory.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably with heavy equipment and trucks.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
