Role Overview
The Media and Editorial Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting Teach For All's communications efforts. This position will involve a variety of tasks related to content creation, editing, and dissemination across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a passion for education and social impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of media and editorial strategies.
- Write, edit, and proofread various communication materials, including website content, blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and reports.
- Support the management of Teach For All's social media channels and online presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and stories for communication purposes.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating media events and outreach activities.
- Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
- Provide administrative support to the communications team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in media, editorial, or communications roles.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for education and social impact is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment
