The medicover group of Hospitals is the leading and largest healthcare service provider in Nairobi with high focus on quality, cost effective and world class healthcare for our clients. We currently have four (4) branches in Nairobi.

Patient care: Interviewing patients to record their medical history, measuring vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight), and preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Assisting physicians: Supporting doctors and nurses during medical exams and minor procedures. Laboratory tasks: Collecting and preparing blood, urine, and other specimens for lab testing, as well as performing basic lab tests. Wound care: Removing sutures and changing wound dressings. Medication and injections: Administering medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered by a physician and in compliance with state laws. Patient education: Explaining medical treatments and procedures to patients and providing instructions on medications, diets, and preventive care. Sterilization: Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining medical instruments and equipment.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse patient populations and the healthcare team. Organization: Excellent organizational abilities to manage administrative tasks, maintain records, and keep the work environment tidy. Attention to detail: Crucial for accurately documenting patient information, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety. Empathy and compassion: The ability to show empathy and provide compassionate care to patients. Technical skills: Proficiency in using digital systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and performing basic medical procedures like EKG tests. Knowledge: Understanding medical terminology and relevant medical coding and billing procedures.
