Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in ultrasound techniques
- Implement the assigned field task in ultrasonography during fieldwork
- Support field work, anthropometric measurements, and triaging of participants
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
- Perform regular sonography and ultrasound apparatus/equipment maintenance and servicing.
- Assist in data management, including accurate management and archiving of digital bioimages from scans.
- Conduct other physiological examinations on participants, including Spirometry, Grip strength, Leg force assessment, among others.
- Assist in project outreach and research findings dissemination.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences, Radiography, or any related field Mandatory
- Registered/licensed with Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KENRA) Mandatory
- Experience in medical imaging techniques Mandatory
- Planning skills Mandatory
- Communication and reporting skills Mandatory
- Interpersonal skills Mandatory
- Team player Mandatory
- Must be comfortable in remote field work conditions Mandatory
