JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a competent and compassionate Medical Officer to provide high-quality medical care, diagnose and treat patients, and support the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations, and treatment plans.
- Perform medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary.
- Participate in emergency and on-call services as required.
- Promote preventive healthcare and patient education.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Registered and licensed by the relevant Medical Board or Medical Practitioners Council.
- Valid practicing license.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting will be an added advantage.
