Job Purpose:
To diagnose, treat, and manage patients at the outpatient and inpatient departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily ward rounds and review admitted patients.
- Diagnose and manage common medical and surgical conditions.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries.
- Participate in emergency resuscitation and stabilization.
- Supervise and mentor clinical officers, interns, and nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and legible patient records.
Qualifications & Registration:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
- Registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Valid practicing license.
- 2+ years post-internship experience.
