ABOUT RISELINK HR CONSULTANCY
Riselink HR Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading healthcare institution.
Job Purpose
Provide comprehensive medical care through the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients while ensuring adherence to clinical standards, ethical practice, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and other assigned units.
- Conduct medical examinations and prescribe appropriate treatment.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiological investigations.
- Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Admit, review, and discharge patients appropriately.
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary patient care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide emergency care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education (CME), and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise interns and junior clinical staff where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
- Valid registration and practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- At least one year of post-internship clinical experience is preferred.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an added advantage.
