BUNGOMA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL INVITES APPLICATIONS for the following positions.

We seek qualified, dedicated professionals to join our team in delivering exceptional pediatric care.

Medical Officers

Provides comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients under the supervision of senior specialists.

Clinical Assessment:

Conduct history-taking, physical examinations, and differential diagnosis for pediatric patients attending outpatient clinics or admitted to the wards.

Treatment and Management:

Prescribe medications and implement treatment plans for common childhood illnesses, infections, and injuries, stabilizing patients and managing follow-up care.

Procedural Assistance:

Assist Consultant Paediatricians and surgeons during examinations, procedures, and minor surgical interventions.

Emergency Response:

Participate in pediatric emergency care, including resuscitation and stabilization, working effectively within the clinical team.

Patient Referral:

Identify patients requiring specialist care and make referrals to appropriate physicians or other disciplines.

Mentorship:

Contribute to the training and mentorship of junior staff and medical students, participating in continuous medical education sessions.

Only candidates with relevant qualifications and experience should apply.
