Beroya Church: City of Refuge Branch, Community Health Initiative in Partnership with Silverheal hospital and Open Space Ministry (OSM)

We are organizing a FREE TWO-DAY MEDICAL CAMP on 29th-30th May 2026 at Beroya Church: City of Refuge Branch Kizito Kiambu county.

We are urgently seeking qualified and licensed healthcare professionals to join our team for this important community service exercise.

Position Available:

All applicants must be duly registered and hold a valid, current practicing license from the relevant regulatory body. Copies of the license, National ID, and professional certificates must be submitted with the application.

Medical Officers (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general outpatient consultations and manage common medical conditions.
  • Supervise Clinical Officers and other clinical staff.
  • Handle emergency cases and coordinate referrals.
  • Ensure quality clinical care and proper documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid and current KMPDC practicing license (must be up-to-date and not expired).
  • At least 1 year post-internship clinical experience (experience in busy outpatient or community settings is an added advantage).
  • Successfully completed one-year internship and registered with KMPDC.
  • Good knowledge of common illnesses in informal settlements (malaria, respiratory infections, hypertension, diabetes, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

General Requirements:

  • Must be available for both days of the medical camp (29th & 30th May 2026) from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Willingness to work in a high-volume, community-based setting Kizito setting
  • Good command of English and Kiswahili (knowledge of local dialects is n advantage).
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, ethics, and professionalism.
  • Must present original documents for verification if shortlisted.
