MERCHANDISER

Job Summary

The Merchandiser will ensure that products are attractively displayed, properly stocked, correctly priced, and readily available to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange products according to company merchandising standards.
• Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked and well organised.
• Monitor product availability and replenish stock when necessary.
• Check product labels, prices, and promotional displays for accuracy.
• Maintain attractive and orderly product displays.
• Monitor product expiry dates and report damaged or expired products.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Implement promotional displays and campaigns.
• Monitor customer preferences and product movement.
• Report stock shortages, damaged products, and merchandising issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean and safe merchandising areas.

Requirements

• Previous retail or merchandising experience is an advantage.
• Good organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and arrange stock for extended periods.
• Reliable, energetic, and proactive.
