Responsibilities or duties
The Meru Youth Services (MYS) invites eligible youth aged 18 to 35 years who are residents of Meru County and possess a minimum of a KCPE certificate to participate in the MYS 2026 Recruitment. The programme seeks to empower young people by providing structured opportunities for skills development, employment, and self-reliance, addressing youth unemployment and promoting community development. Successful applicants will be selected through an open and transparent lottery system and will first undergo a short orientation course, followed by short-term employment in community service activities, and thereafter proceed to Vocational Training Centers to undertake technical and vocational training.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum of a KCPE certificate. Aged 18 to 35 years. Residents of Meru County.
Experience needed
Short-term employment in community service activities.
