Metal Fabrication Workers (2)

Clean and Finish Metal: Operate metal cleaning equipment such as wheelabrators, deburrers, and shotblasters to remove excess welds, rust, and scale .

Assist Metal Workers: Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and other metal workers .

Material Handling: Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually or using hoists .

Cut and Grind: Cut, grind, or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools .

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
