JOB DETAILS:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mid-Level Flutter Developer, based in Nairobi County. You’ll primarily design, develop, and maintain the high-performance, cross-platform apps that power our transport and logistics platform — a parcel-movement network connecting senders, a network of stops, and a fleet of runners.
The platform runs on an event-driven backend built and maintained in Ruby on Rails.
The Team
The role reports to our Senior Flutter Developer, who has been with the company for over four years and has deep knowledge of our design approach and codebase. You’ll also collaborate closely with our backend engineers, our UI/UX designer (who brings a strong customer-experience focus), and the wider cross-functional team.
As a secondary responsibility, you’ll help maintain our cross-platform e-commerce app and the Android app serving our multi-user, multi-account Inventory/POS system.
What We’re Looking For
This is a mid-level role. We expect:
- Practical, end-to-end experience building Flutter apps — from concept through to deployment across web and mobile ecosystems (it needn’t be extensive, but you should have shipped something).
- Comfort collaborating with a backend team and working within an established design approach.
- A willingness to learn and grow under senior mentorship.
