Background

The Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Migration Assistant who can work independently, take initiative, manage fluctuating workloads, and stay effective under pressure. The role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as it involves close cooperation with all members of the Migration Section.

Responsibilities

Key duties include receiving, registering, and processing applications for visas, residence permits, and work permits; conducting interviews for residence permit cases; responding to inquiries by phone and email; handling filing, archiving, and general administrative tasks; and performing any additional duties assigned by the Head of Section.
