Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mortician to join our team. The Mortician will be responsible for the respectful and dignified care of deceased individuals, ensuring all procedures are carried out with professionalism and adherence to hospital policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare deceased individuals for viewing, burial, or cremation.
• Perform embalming and restorative art procedures as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the mortuary facilities.
• Handle the transfer of deceased individuals to and from the mortuary.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to deceased individuals.
• Liaise with families, funeral homes, and relevant authorities.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mortuary Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mortician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of embalming techniques and restorative art.
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to death and burial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with sensitivity and compassion.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
