POSITION: Music Teacher
Job Summary:
The Music Teacher is responsible for teaching music theory and practical skills while nurturing learners' creativity, performance abilities, and appreciation for music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Music lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Prepare learners for practical and theoretical examinations.
- Organize and supervise the school choir and music-related activities.
- Assess learner performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Support co-curricular music programmes and competitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Education specializing in Music.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Ability to direct musical performances, choirs, and ensembles.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
