Background
The Nautical Science Trainer will support instruction in navigation, seamanship, vessel operations and related maritime subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching nautical science courses.
- Preparing theoretical and practical training materials.
- Delivering lessons in navigation and seamanship.
- Supporting simulator-based or practical exercises.
- Assessing learners through examinations and practical evaluations.
- Maintaining training and assessment records.
- Reinforcing safe vessel operating procedures.
- Providing academic and technical guidance to trainees.
- Participating in programme planning and review.
- Supporting the academy’s maritime education objectives.
