Responsibilities or duties

The Network Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues to ensure optimal uptime and connectivity.
  • Implementing and managing network security measures to protect against threats.
  • Performing regular network backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Providing technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
  • Documenting network configurations and procedures.

Qualifications or requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience needed

Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration.
