Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise MEAL systems to ensure effective data collection, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic decision-making and impact assessment. Work with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and ensure robust measurement frameworks.
- Lead the design and implementation of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with organisational-wide data infrastructure and compliance with governance standards. Provide technical leadership on system architecture, configuration, and functionality.
- Facilitate adoption and engagement with MEAL systems by working closely with internal stakeholders, providing training, and embedding a culture of data-driven decision-making. Develop user-friendly guidance materials and ensure capacity building across teams.
- Assess and improve MEAL system performance, leveraging stakeholder feedback and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and usability. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate processes, and increase system interoperability.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee system procurement and upgrades, ensuring cost-effective and high-performing MEAL solutions that align with organisational needs. Conduct market research to identify innovative tools that enhance MEAL capabilities.
- Ensure MEAL systems enable effective organisational learning, supporting teams in interpreting data insights and refining programme strategies accordingly. Develop frameworks to capture lessons learned and facilitate adaptive management approaches.
- Develop and maintain a network of MEAL system champions, ensuring MEAL processes are embedded across teams and functions for sustained adoption. Act as a key liaison between programme teams, IT, and leadership to ensure system alignment with organisational priorities.
- Lead the governance and compliance of MEAL systems, ensuring alignment with data protection regulations, including GDPR and ethical data management principles. Establish data quality assurance processes and maintain high standards for integrity and security.
- Advise senior leadership on MEAL system capabilities, aligning technology with strategic objectives and advocating for continuous improvement and innovation. Provide thought leadership on the future of MEAL technology, ensuring World Animal Protection remains at the forefront of best practices.

- Expertise in MEAL system design, governance, and digital transformation.
- Experience managing large-scale data systems and software platforms within international organisations.

- Significant experience in persuading and influencing stakeholders to adopt digital systems and data-driven approaches.

- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar relational databases.
