About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of server infrastructure, virtual environments, network security solutions, and ICT hardware. The role requires hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, network administration, cybersecurity, and hardware management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Create, manage, and monitor virtual machines using platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Proxmox.
  • Perform server patching, updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning.
  • Monitor server performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and remote access services.
  • Configure and maintain firewall rules, VPN solutions, and network security controls.
  • Monitor security events and respond to infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, storage systems, desktops, laptops, and related ICT equipment.
  • Manage ICT asset inventories and lifecycle processes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Provide second-level and third-level technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Participate in infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure engineering.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Windows Server Administration
  • Linux Administration (Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, Rocky Linux, CentOS)
  • Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox)
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing and Switching
  • Firewall and VPN Administration
  • Cybersecurity and Access Control Management
  • Server and Storage Hardware Management
  • Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

  • CCNA
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • RHCSA
