Job Summary

Brighton International School is seeking a compassionate, responsible, and qualified Nurse to provide health care services to students and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the school's health unit, responding to medical emergencies, and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate health records.
  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions among students.
  • Conduct health screenings and promote health education.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the health unit.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers regarding student health.
  • Ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) .
  • Valid NCK (Nursing Council of Kenya) Registration Certificate or Practicing License.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification is an added advantage.

 Personal Qualities:

  • Mature, responsible, and trustworthy.
  • Compassionate and patient with children.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and maintain discipline.
  • Knowledge of Child Safeguarding.
