Responsibilities
The Nurse Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lectures, facilitating practical sessions, and mentoring students. This role involves developing and managing support services such as tutoring, mentoring, and wellness programs to promote student success. The tutor will also be expected to stay updated with the latest medical education curriculum and accreditation standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelors of Science in Nursing/HND. A Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) and a qualification in Pedagogy are considered added advantages. Leadership training is also beneficial. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a medical training college or related institution is mandatory. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting is required. Strong knowledge of the medical education curriculum, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements is essential.
