JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating room with sterile instruments
- Assist surgical team during procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Provide immediate postoperative care
- Maintain sterile technique in operating room
- Handle surgical specimens correctly
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Registered Nursing with perioperative specialization
- Registered with General Nursing Council of Zambia
- 3+ years experience in operating theatre
- Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: associate degree
