Job Description
Implementing nutrition programs
Providing nutrition services
Conducting nutrition assessments
Collecting and compiling nutrition data
Providing nutrition health education and demonstrations
Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs
Monitoring preparations of therapeutic feeds
Implementing outpatients and inpatients supplementary and therapeutic feeding programs
Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programs
Providing micronutrient supplementation
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma in community nutrition, clinical nutrition or nutrition and dietetics from a recognized institution
Registration by the council of institute of nutritionists and dieticians
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of kenya
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
