Position Overview

Lanterna Home Health Care is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to oversee day-to-day office operations at its Karen facility. The successful candidate will streamline administrative processes, manage clinical records and communication, coordinate schedules, and support cross-functional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office & Facility Management: Oversee daily administrative workflows, manage office inventory, and maintain an organized working environment.
  • Records & Documentation: Handle health records, administrative documentation, and client filings with strict confidentiality and precision.
  • Communication & Coordination: Manage front-desk inquiries, incoming emails, and phone calls, ensuring clear communication between clients, care personnel, and management.
  • Schedule & Operations Support: Assist in scheduling care visits, coordinating staff assignments, and supporting executive administrative needs.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Health Records, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven administrative experience (prior experience in healthcare, clinic, or service-based businesses is highly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
  • Compliance & Attributes: Possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct; strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
