Job summary

The ideal candidate must be deeply experienced in field operations, credit management, and team leadership, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a senior operations/field management role in:
  • Microfinance / Microcredit (highly preferred)
  • Banking (Retail/SME lending)
  • Telecommunications (Sales & Distribution)
• Proven experience managing large, field-based teams across multiple locations
• Demonstrated success in portfolio growth and debt recovery
• Must be a Kenyan

• Execution-focused that is; delivers results, not just plans
• Highly analytical with strong grasp of portfolio performance metrics

We are a fast-growing microcredit company seeking a highly competent and hands-on Operations Manager to lead a full operational sector (region).

This is a senior, performance-driven role responsible for managing multiple layers of teams including Cluster Managers, General Monitoring Officers and Sales Executives, while driving portfolio quality, growth, and operational discipline.

The ideal candidate must be deeply experienced in field operations, credit management, and team leadership, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, strategic, and able to balance field execution with overall business management.
