Background

Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership over the entire Operations Division, chairing weekly division meetings and cascading executive priorities to team leaders.

Drive company revenue and gross margin targets across retail branches and corporate sales channels while managing operational budgets.

Oversee retail branch operations to achieve key performance indicators, including inventory shrinkage, product availability, customer satisfaction, and profitability targets.

Lead the operational setup, cross-functional coordination, and 90- day performance stabilization for new store openings and network expansion.

Ensure operational compliance with safety, health, food safety, environmental (NEMA), data protection, and other legal regulations.

Manage, mentor, and evaluate direct reports (Heads of Function and Branch Managers), driving performance management and talent development.

Prepare monthly commercial reports and contribute operational inputs to the annual budget and financial projections.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.

Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) with a focu on general management, retail, or operations.

Professional membership with a recognized bod (KIM, MSK, KISM, CIPS, or equivalent).

Experience

Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.

Preferred Age

Preferred age bracket of 32 to 40 years.
