Responsibilities or duties
The Orthopaedic Trauma Technician shall be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for the following;
- Offering Plaster Services depending on the level of care deployed;
- Guiding and counseling patients, clients and family members on Orthopaedic related health issues in consultation with the Specialists
- Referring patients and clients appropriately in consultation with other team members
- Coaching and mentoring students on attachment;
- Collecting and compiling data for research on plaster services issues;
- Ordering and monitoring usage of Orthopaedic commodities
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Be a holder of a Certificate in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine from a recognized institution;
- Must be computer literate
