Orthopedic Trauma Technicians III – Job Group G – 2 Posts – 3 Years Contract
These technicians specialize in trauma and orthopedic support services.
Job Description
- Provide assistance in the management of fractures and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Apply and remove plaster casts, splints, and traction devices.
- Maintain orthopedic instruments and ensure proper sterilization.
- Support surgeons in orthopedic theatres during procedures.
- Assist in fitting and adjusting orthopedic appliances.
- Document patient procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and families on care of casts and appliances.
- Participate in outreach programs for orthopedic health.
