Role Overview:

The Outbound Lead is responsible for leading and managing outbound operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment. This role oversees picking, sortation, dispatch, and outbound process optimization while maintaining operational excellence, stock accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational discipline, and continuous improvement capabilities in a fast-paced fulfilment environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise outbound associates to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Ensure dispatch schedules and delivery timelines are met
  • Maintain operational efficiency and quality standards
  • Allocate daily workloads based on order volumes, resource availability, and operational priorities
  • Conduct quality checks to verify order accuracy, product quality, and compliance with pick lists
  • Ensure 100% trip scanning for real-time order visibility and tracking
  • Train team members on outbound SOPs, safety and operational standards,
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized outbound floor in compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Investigate and resolve shipment, documentation, or dispatch issues while escalating critical concerns promptly
  • Monitor and report on key operational KPIs
  • Support route staging and workload planning
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize outbound efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment center operations
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is an added advantage
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
