POSITION: P1 Teacher
Job Summary:
The P1 Teacher is responsible for delivering quality instruction to lower primary learners while supporting their academic, emotional, social, and personal development through effective implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBC.
- Assess learner performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare teaching and learning resources.
- Communicate learner progress with parents and guardians.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and co-curricular programmes.
- Support learners' holistic growth and well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
- P1 Certificate from a recognized teacher training institution.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum three (3) years' experience handling lower primary learners.
- Competent in Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) implementation.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
