JOB PURPOSE

To provide quality foundational education to learners through effective teaching, classroom management, and implementation of the approved curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (P1 Certificate) or equivalent qualification
• Registered with Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
• Minimum 2–3 years teaching experience (preferred)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children in a community school setting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans according to curriculum
• Manage classroom discipline effectively
• Assess and evaluate learner progress
• Prepare teaching materials and exercises
• Maintain accurate student records and reports
• Support co-curricular and school activities
• Communicate with parents and school administration
• Promote a positive learning environment
