PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT
OUR CLIENT IS A GROWING MANUFACTURING COMPANY
QUALIFICATIONS
diploma in purchasing and supplies management, procurement, supply chain management or a related field.
• good knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• strong organizational and time management skills.
• ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in procurement, preferably in a growing or medium sized company.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials, equipment and services.
• identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price. Quality, service and delivery timelines.
• negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to ensure best value.
• raise purchase orders and traci, deliveries to ensure goods are received in full and on time.
• maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
• liaise with the finance department to ensure timely payments and proper reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
