About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys and legal teams in managing case-related activities, legal documentation, client communication, and litigation support functions.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a law firm environment, strong organizational skills, excellent English communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal setting.
Location
Nairobi Kenya 100% On-Site
Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM PST
Candidates must be available to consistently work within these hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, letters, and legal documents.
- Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and organize case files using case management and document management systems.
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting information for ongoing matters.
- Assist attorneys with hearing, deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, appointments, and litigation timelines.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates and required documentation.
- Track and manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
- Ensure legal records, filings, and case documentation are maintained accurately and timely.
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree required.
Currently pursuing or have completed studies in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 1.5 years of Paralegal experience.
Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
