JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose.

A primary purpose of the Partnership Impact Data and System Analyst is to ensure timely and quality analysis of reach and impact data submitted by the Field Offices into the new data acquisition platform as part of the realization of the Partnership Impact Measurement Framework (PIMF). Key functional and sectoral trends will be regularly identified for their interpretation with respective experts and acted upon by the field. The role holder(s) will also be responsible to ensure that the data visualization platform(s), built on the PIMF data, are accurate, duly updated and serve as a credible source of evidence.

Major Responsibilities.
Data Analytics

• Process large reach and impact data submitted by the FOs into the new data acquisition platform per Partnership Impact Measurement Framework (PIMF) realization in the field
• Provide analysis of PIMF data to identify trends and patterns per funding stream, program type, sector, context, donor promise, SO, region etc.
• Generate Partnership Impact reports per agreed frequency
• Identify key findings per analysed data to be interpreted by respective sectoral/functional leads and the field
• Support the process of the Partnership Impact Report dissemination
• On the basis of the PIMF data strengthen foundation and regularly update key Power Claims

Partnership Impact Data System & Dashboard

• Manage Data Visualization Platform(s) on the basis of the PIMF data submitted by the field into the new data acquisition platforms
• Ensure the content and layout of the data visualization dashboard(s) accurately represent the PIMF reach and impact data submitted by field
• Ensure the context and layout of the data visualization dashboard(s) correspond to the high-level priorities and interests of key stakeholders across the Partnership
• Perform frequent quality checks to ensure the data visualization dashboard(s) show updated and accurate information submitted by the field
• Work closely with the GDT to ensure that data acquisition system enable timely and quality reach and impact data collection and reporting
• Ensure that the data visualization platform stand as a credible source of evidence for Strategy Realization Measurement Framework (SRMF) reach and impact indicators
• Ensure that the data visualization platform(s) developed on the basis of the PIMF data submitted by the field serve as a one stop shop for all previously existing data platforms and functional/sectoral dashboards (e.g. ASM, Global Strategy Scorecard etc.)

Partnership Impact Measurement Framework Indicators
• Facilitate a process of integrating the PIMG master list indicators into the existing program/project designs across all funding streams
• In close collaboration with the Strategy Evidence team, DME/Integrated Ministry and some other key stakeholders (including strategic SO partners) facilitate the process of mapping and tagging existing indicators outside the PIMF master list vis a vis the master list indicators (crowdsourcing)
• In close collaboration with the Strategy Evidence team, DME/Integrated Ministry and some other key stakeholders (including strategic SO partners) consistently map and tag new indicators from the field outside the PIMF master list to maintain space for flexibility and local context sensitivity while preventing the PIMF indicators’ master list from continuous increase

Other

Support successful realization of new initiatives and projects of the Strategy Evidence Team evolving gradually

Knowledge and Education
• BA or MA level in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Assistance or any related field
• At least 5 years of experience of working in the area of data analytics
• Proven experience of working in the field DME
• Proven experience of data collection and analysis across different funding streams and program types
• Proven experience of managing data visualization platforms/dashboards
• High proficiency in statistical analysis
• High proficiency in various statistical software of data science (e.g. STATA, R etc.)
