Provide high-quality patient support while managing scheduling, records, and communication. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Kenya’s Data Protection Act, while delivering an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle patient inquiries (in-person, calls, email)
  • Schedule appointments considering availability, restrictions, and optimization (incl. double-booking)
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems
  • Verify patient eligibility and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and admin teams
  • De-escalate patient concerns professionally

Requirements

  • Experience with medical scheduling and EHR/EMR systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA or data privacy standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Conflict resolution and multitasking ability
