Location: Onsite – Oasis Outsourcing, Royal Offices, 3rd Floor, Office 33, Mogotio Road, Nairobi, Kenya
Schedule: 26 hours per week, with shifts assigned within the 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Kenya time window (not 12-hour shifts, but availability is required during this range).
Role Overview:
As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, efficient, and fully compliant experience aligned with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Your mission will be to combine strong administrative skills with a human-centered approach, optimizing medical schedules, coordinating clinical processes, and resolving patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient support with clear, empathetic, and professional communication.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
- Manage medical schedules: identify available slots, restrictions, and opportunities for optimization (including double-booking when appropriate).
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems and internal tools.
- Handle calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently.
- De-escalate patient concerns using empathy and conflict resolution techniques.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in scheduling and coordinating medical appointments.
- Patient data management and accurate documentation.
- Proficiency in healthcare platforms (CRM, scheduling tools).
- Advanced English (B2+/C1) – mandatory requirement.
- Provide patient support with clear, empathetic, and professional communication.
